I’ve spent a lot of time believing I was broken and unfixable. I held so much shame. Shame for what I had done. Shame for what had been done to me. Shame for how I choose to survive. I had a lot of parts that worked really hard for years and have ‘made me successful’, but they were tired and angry. I’d had glimmers of feeling free but they seemed fleeting and hard to cultivate. I thought I needed to be ‘fixed’. Put back together.
When what I really needed was to be seen, witnessed and validated. I needed my story - all of it - to be heard and hold it’s place in my journey.
Freedom is found in Owning Your Story.
I’ve had my own shopping list “what’s wrong with me”. Struggling with anxiety, depression and more.
But, there wasn’t anything wrong with me. There we parts of me trying (and succeeding) to keep me safe within the chaos that was life.
I believe, and it’s backed by science, research and evidence-based practices, that when we create space to connect with our internal world we can find freedom and connection.
You are more than the actions of a few of your parts.

My Approach
When we are seen, witnessed and acknowledged we are freed. When we can own our story we no longer have to run from it.
When we listen to the parts of us that are trying to tell us their fears, worries and concerns we show them that they can communicate with us calmly rather than hijack us and either have us be in control all the time or doing things ‘out of the blue’ or seemingly ‘out of our control’.
I believe that we need the space and time to feel into our experiences, develop the skills to navigate our internal world and how we interact with others and make sense of our experiences.
My practice is deeply grounded in seeing all of you. It is guided by Internal Family Systems, ACT, MI, somatic practices, attachment theory and our evolving knowledge of neuroscience.
